Nanhui conserves the best reed beds as well as mudflats, we can try for Reed Parrotbill and Japanese Swamp Warbler(Marsh Grassbird), it is also a very good place for migrants, we shall see many Flycatchers and Warblers, Dark-sided, Asian Brown, Blue-and-white, Narcissus, Yellow-rumped and Mugimaki Flycatchers, Pallas’s Leaf Warbler,Yellow-browed, Arctic, Pale-legged and Eastern Crowned Warblers. Wuyuan is a very beautiful country area in Jiangxi province, the forest coverage here reached to 85 %, and it is home to 370 bird species, There are many ancient villages scattered around the area, some rare birds have also found their home in the trees nearby the villages, the Courtois’s Laughingthush(Blue-crowned Laughthingthrush in Chinese)is the rarest in the area, the total number of this species is estimated only around 200. We will spend some time with them on a small island near a village. another good bird we could see here is Pied Falconet, they are widely spread the whole south China, but not easy to see in some other places. they other birds we are here to look for include Mandarin Duck, Chinese Bamboo-Partridge, Black Baza, Chinese Sparrowhawk, Long-billed Plover, Large Hawk-cuckoo, Indian Cuckoo, Crested Kingfisher, Grey-capped Pygmy Woodpecker, White-throated Needletail, Swinhoe’s and Grey-chinned Minivets, Brown-breasted, Chinese and Chestnut Bulbuls, Dollarbird, Black-winged Cuckooshrike, Dusky and Grey-cheeked Fulvettas, Collared Finchbill, White-crowned Forktail, Chinese Hwamei, White-browed, Masked and Moustached Laughingthrushes, Rufous-faced Warbler, Black-throated Bushtit, Short-tailed Parrotbill, Grey Treepie, Black-collared and Red-billed Starlings.
