Uponal arrival, picked up by our local guide, drive to Jianfengling National Forest Park,night the Park's Guest house.

Hainan Partridge and Hainan Peacock-Pheasant, Chinese Barbet, Hainan (or Swinhoe's) Laughingthrush and Hainan Leaf Warbler， Ratchet-tailed Treepie, Rufous-cheeked Laughingthrush and Yellow-billed Nuthatch. Return to Sanya, fly to Nanning in Guangxi. Drive to Nonggang, drive to visit White-headed Langur on the way.

Nonggang Babbler,Blue-rumped Pitta, Indochinese Green and White-winged Magpie, Black-throated Laughingthruish,Limestone Leaf Warbler and Pale-footed Bush Warbler,David’s Fulvetta, Streaked Wren Babbler and Buff-breasted Babbler.

Return to Nanning, flying to Tengchong, transfer from Kunming, over night in Tengchong.

Grey Peacock-Pheasant, White-cheeked Partridge, Blue-naped and Rusty-naped Pittas, Collared Treepie, Collared and Burmese Mynas, Rufous-headed Parrotbills, White-hooded Babbler, Red-tailed,Grey-sided, Spot-breasted Laughingthrush,Kalij Pheasant, Large, Coral-billed and Red-billed Scimitar Babblers,,Common Green Magpie, Drongos, Sunbirds, Barbets, Sibias,Forktails, Flycatchers,Thrushes (Dark-sided,Long-billed, Himalayan), we will also try for the elusive Naung Mung Scimitar Babbler. on the last day, we may slowly drive back towards Tengchong and spend 1 night here in Tengchong.

In the morning, drive to open land in search of Brown-winged Parrotbil, then try for Ibisbill, Long-billed Plover and River Lapwing at a nearby river. in the afternoon, drive to Baihualing, over night at the Guesthouse at Baihualing in Gaoligong mountain.

Rufous-throated, Hill and Mountain Bamboo Partridges,Lady Amherst's,Kalij, Mrs. Hume's Pheasant, Golden-throated Barbet, Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler, Cachar Wedge-billed Babbler, Scarlet-faced Liocichla,Moustached, Blue-winged,Assam, Red-tailed, Laughingthrush, Beautiful,Long-tailed,Gray, Black-headed Sibia, Chestnut-headed ,Grey-bellied Tesias, Grey-winged Blackbird, Black-breasted, Long-tailed and Himalayan Thrushes, Golden Bush Robin, Maroon-backed Accentor, Mrs Gould's Sunbird and Scarlet Finch, Laughingthrush, Yunnan and Rusty-capped Fulvettas,etc.

Early morning drive north to Lijiang County (520km / 7 hours). close to Lijiang, drive to visit the Pine Forests for Yunnan Nuthatch,
Rufous-tailed Babbler(Moupinia), Black-browed Bushtit, Black-bibbed Tit and the Eye-ringed Parrotbill (split from Brown-winged),then continue drive to Liju village close to next day's birding. Night at Homestay Hotel.

In the morning, drive into a remote valley for Biet’s (White-speckled),Black-faced, Moustached,Spotted,Elliot’s Laughingthrush Laughingthrush,other species including Black-streaked Scimitar Babbler, Crested Finchbill, Brown-breasted Bulbul, , Black-browed Bushtit and Spectacled, White-browed and Manipur Fulvettas. In the afternoon, drive back to Lijiang and visit La Shi Hai, If lucky enough, we may can find Black-necked Cranes here.

Today’s activities will depend on your flight departure time. We’ll go birding at the Ten-Thousand-Mu Rhododendron Garden in the morning, then drive back to Lijiang Airport for departure
