Tianjin, diversified environments gave birth to the diversity of life forms, also provided a variety of habitats for birds.Binhai New Area of coastal tidal flats, there were records of 12,000 wintering relict gulls .the Morthern Harbor Wetlands,along with a number of wetlands in the whole area, are all the important Stopover places for migratory birds.According to the latest survey, there were more than 400 species of birds recorded in Tianjin , including the world's endangered Oriental White Stork ,Baer's Porchard,Swan Goose,Mute Swan,etc,many were the National First-class or Scecond-class Protected species.
