Elan is an up and coming talent in the China guide community, having already seen more than 900 species of birds domestically, and more than 1900 species worldwide. Elan started birding in 2019, but has quickly become well-known among clients for his incredible field skills, and pleasant service-oriented personality.
Elan hails from Yichun, Jiangxi Province and graduated in 2023 from Nanchang University with a degree in clinical medicine. He has experience guiding in Indonesia, Vietnam, East Africa and throughout China. He enjoys improving his fluency in English, following his favorite NBA players, and spending time with his young niece.
